Privacy policy

My goal here at Blue Jay of Happiness is to create a community where we feel free from judgement, open and supportive. With this in mind, it’s important for you to know that I will always value your privacy.

This policy is to explain how I use any data you share with me (for example, your email address), where it’s stored and how you can get in touch if you would like this data completely removed.

What information does the Blue Jay of Happiness website collect and how is it used?

If you subscribe to my newsletter, I will collect your first name and email address so I can send you my Blue Jay Monthly Musings newsletter. In this newsletter you’ll receive thoughts, resources and free content. In some newsletters there will also be information and offers about my paid-for coaching service.

This information will only be collected if you fill in a form and then reconfirm your subscription via a ‘double opt-in’. This means you’ll get an email asking you to confirm subscription before you receive anything from me.

Will my information be shared with anyone?

No, I will never share your data with anyone.

How is my information stored and is it secure?

I use a data management system called Mailchimp to store your information. This is only accessible by me through a password protected and SMS-verified login.

How can I opt out of receiving emails from Blue Jay of Happiness?

All of my emails will give you the option to unsubscribe – you’ll find the link to do this at the bottom of my emails. Unsubscribing means your email address will be removed from my mailing list and you’ll stop receiving communication from me.

If you want to exercise your ‘right to be forgotten’ you can email me at: bluejayofhappiness@gmail.com and I will remove all records of your data from my system (including any history of previous emails sent).

Any other questions?

If you want to know more about your privacy, emails and data stuffs – please feel free to email me at: bluejayofhappiness@gmail.com and I will answer any further questions.
