I call myself a self-worth coach because when we don’t value ourselves, so many things in our life feel more difficult.

Maybe a lack of confidence stops you reaching out to people and you feel isolated. You see other people effortlessly making connections, but you feel like you’re on an island, watching from afar.

Maybe you’re consumed with self-doubt and the idea of following your dreams seems impossible. Launching that business, writing that book, whatever it is you really want to do, feels like something other people do. Not you.

Maybe you see that you’re not taking care of yourself as you should, but struggle to take time for yourself. You’ve read all the articles out there about why self-care is so important, but fitting it into your life on a practical level seems a stretch too far.

Why do I know all of this? Because I’ve been there.

FXT10011 - Kat Nicholls

Before I valued myself, I lacked confidence, I hated the way I looked and I had zero ambition besides losing weight. Things spiralled and at my lowest I developed an eating disorder.

In the years since my recovery, I’ve learnt the tools I needed to discover my self-worth, feel comfortable in my body (regardless of its size) and think bigger when it came to my hopes and dreams.

I’ve become the Queen of boundary setting and feel no shame is saying no to people when I need to prioritise self-care. I’ve learnt to love who I am, how I look and what I do. I’ve found my ‘why’, my ‘purpose’ and have navigated my way through self-doubt to pursue it.

I’m not perfect, I don’t have all the answers – the human experience is a messy one. But, if you’re looking for support on your own self-worth journey, I’m here to share with you what I’ve learnt and help you uncover your own answers to start living with compassion, self-belief and self-love.

How will I do this? Through my two coaching offerings:

What to expect:

In our self-care strategy session we’ll talk about what’s holding you back from taking care of yourself, what ‘counts’ as self-care, how you would like your self-care routine to look (remember, this will look different for everyone) and how you can start prioritising yourself without the guilt.

After our call I’ll send you a bespoke self-care strategy document, detailing your new self-care routine and a list of resources to help you keep up the momentum. What past clients are saying:

I honestly didn’t know what to expect from coaching, especially on the topic of self-care and self-worth, however Kat put me at ease instantly. Every interaction with her (email, Skype) has been filled with care and kindness.

During our coaching session, Kat listened and I truly felt that she could understand my challenges. Most importantly she has this gift of making you feel comfortable, even as you share some vulnerable things about yourself! Her suggestions are brilliant in a way that simplifies life and makes the action steps easy to achieve.”

– Bea

Speaking to Kat was such a positive experience. I was really struggling to see my value and offer positively and Kat left me feeling so much more confident. She also gave me some fantastic recommendations for other resources, as well as some exercises that are already having a great impact.

The self-worth discovery package

What’s included:

  • 6 x fortnightly 60 minute coaching calls
  • Notes after every session including further resources
  • Email support throughout
  • Document with key learnings + a self-coaching checklist when we’re done
  • Email check-in 30 days after our last session
  • Lifetime access to all Blue Jay Monthly Musings PDFs (extra content I make for my newsletter subscribers)

This is for you if:

  • You feel like your lack of self-belief is holding you back
  • You struggle with self-doubt
  • You lack confidence, in your appearance, relationships or in business
  • You find it hard to place value on your work

What to expect:

Low confidence, body image issues, self-doubt, fear, difficulty placing value on your time/skills – all of these issues, I believe, stem from a lack of self-worth. When we value ourselves, when we truly know our own worth, when we allow ourselves to accept and love ourselves as we are… our lives can change.

Whether you want to feel brave enough to launch that new business, build up your confidence and people skills or just not hate what you see in the mirror, discovering your self-worth is the first step. Over the course of three months, we’ll unpack what’s really going on, use tools and techniques to help change your outlook and figure out what you need in order to feel worthy (because, spoiler, you totally are).

After every session I’ll send you notes and resources to further your learning and I’ll be available the whole time via email to cheer you on. When we’re finished I’ll create a PDF with the key discoveries we’ve made and a self-coaching checklist so you can take what we’ve discovered and use it on an ongoing basis (because, let’s face it – this shit is a JOURNEY!).

Your investment: £900 (or 3 x instalments of £300)

I highly recommend the coaching sessions with Kat. The advice and encouragement was light and easy to follow through on, and so helpful. If you want to learn more about what coaching is (and what coaching isn’t) before we get started head over to this helpful coaching overview document from Starr Consulting.

This also seems like a good place to highlight that although I have experienced poor mental health myself, write a lot on the subject and have mental health first aid training, I am not a trained counsellor and therefore will not be able to help with specific mental health conditions.

I’m a huge advocate for counselling and if this is something you want to explore, I would recommend Counselling Directory where you can search for a counsellor in your local area. Sometimes we need to look back and do some healing before we’re ready to take the next step into our future. When you feel ready to do that, I’ll be here.
