Without a clear sense of our own worth, we often come up against roadblocks. Perhaps there’s an area of your life where you feel stuck, but you’re not sure why. Maybe you’ve read all the advice out there on confidence, but none of it seems to help. You know you have a lot to offer, but you lack the self-belief needed to get your voice heard.

All of these roadblocks can leave you feeling frustrated, scared and above anything else – exhausted. You know something needs to change, but it all feels a little much to do it alone. Before we go any further, I want you to know you’re so not alone and there is a way to move forward.

My aim as a coach is to help you strengthen your foundation of self-worth.

Once you’ve reinforced your foundations, you can build walls of self-belief and top it all off with a roof of confidence. What you’ll end up with is a home where you’ll feel protected, calm and utterly capable. Having this home will give you a quiet understanding of your worth which you’ll be able to communicate clearly to others. 

You’ll be able to set boundaries and prioritise yourself while continuing to care for and support others. You’ll have the self-belief and confidence you need to go for what you really want in life. You’ll develop resilience and self-compassion – to put it simply, you’ll be better equipped to weather the storms in life. 

Here’s how we’ll do it: We’ll unpick the limiting beliefs holding you back and create a new narrative. We’ll nail down your value, your purpose and discover how you can bring this into the world. You’ll learn how self-care nurtures self-worth as we set small challenges to nudge the edges of your comfort zone. I’ll teach you practical confidence building tools and how to deal with knockbacks. 

I’ll be by your side the entire time, offering gentle support and accountability. We’ll take a holistic approach, recognising your specific set of circumstances and any external factors that come into play. We’ll be realistic and most importantly compassionate. This is a journey and I want it to be as safe and smooth as possible.

FAQs

 

How do I know if coaching or counselling is right for me?

I know it can be hard to know which professional is right for you and in fact, I’ve written an article and made a podcast on this topic to help. In general though, counselling may be better if you believe a previous trauma or mental illness is at the root of your self-worth difficulties or if you’re struggling day-to-day.

Coaching is pretty action-focused and while we will take your past into account, we’ll look more at the here and now and what changes you can make to move forwards. I will always tell you if I believe counselling is the better option for you.

 

How will the coaching be delivered?

Most of my coaching sessions are delivered online through Skype video calls or FaceTime, but if you’re local/willing to travel to Guildford, I’m more than happy for us to have a coaching session face-to-face in a local cafe (I’ll get the coffee!).

 

Is it worth the money?

This really will be up to you to decide. It’s incredibly difficult to put a price on the feeling you get when you know your worth, believe in yourself and feel confident. Ultimately, you’ll get out of coaching what you put into it. If you feel ready to make a change and therefore invest, both emotionally and financially, I will promise to show up and use my coaching skills to support you as fully and whole-heartedly as possible. 

If you’re in a position where you can’t afford coaching right now, please don’t be disheartened and please don’t feel like you need to put yourself into debt to do so. Can I really make this change?

One of my strongest beliefs is that we are all capable of change as long as we are ready and willing to put in the work to do so. I’ve done it and I’ve seen others do it. Change happens through small steps over time and with support around you, I promise you can do it too.
