Hand in hand

An unscheduled and impromptu blog from me this week to tell you about something new and exciting…

A few months ago I had the pleasure of interviewing Laurie from A Woodland Gathering and after the interview we got chatting about mental health in the creative industry and how we can support each other more.

We decided to create a safe space for those of us working in creative industries who need support and community around us in the form of a Facebook group.

Laurie came up with the name ‘Hand in Hand’ because so often mental health and creativity go hand in hand, and also because we will all be there together to support one another, hand in hand.

We would love for you to join us here.

Our aim is for this to be a totally safe space to talk about anything and everything, including what you’re struggling with.

Neither of us are trained mental health professionals, but we have lived experience and sometimes just having a space to talk can do wonders.

We hope to see you there.
