If you’ve been following me on social media, you’ll know that I’ve slowly but surely been creating my very own podcast and today I get to share the trailer with you! I’ve been a podcast fan for a long time and the more I started talking on Instagram stories, the more I realised I like using my voice in this way, speaking out loud.
Writing will always be my home - the place I feel most comfortable - but it feels nice to experiment with a new medium. I know as much as anyone that finding the time to read blogs can be hard.
Sticking a podcast on while driving to work, cleaning or walking into town however, is much more accessible. So I wanted to see what I could do in this space.
Before I share the trailer, I want to give a shout out here to some people who helped make this happen - Lucy Lucraft’s podcast workshop at the start of this year helped me refine my idea and get the wheels in motion, while Josephine Brooks’ side-hustle route map workshop helped me take something overwhelming and broke it into manageable steps.
I want to thank Dan too, for helping me with the tech side of things and being my ever-patient proof-listener, and finally my girlfriends who put up with my frantic Whatsapp messages with different art-cover options.
In the trailer you’ll hear why I decided to call it Seedling, some of the topics I cover in season one and the format it will take. The first episode will be going live on the 9th of October, with new episodes being released every Wednesday after that. I really hope you’ll subscribe and join me for this new ride.
You can listen wherever you get your podcasts or listen here.
Save for later:
